Tooling Design Engineer

Are you a talented Tooling Designer with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a skilled individual to join our client's team and take on the challenge of designing cutting-edge tooling for composite manufacturing processes. If you have experience in tooling design, a strong understanding of composite materials, and a drive for excellence, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Design and develop advanced tooling for composite manufacturing.
2. Collaborate with commercial and production teams to ensure tooling meets design specifications and production requirements.
3. Create detailed tooling designs and drawings using CAD software.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues during production.
5. Continuously refine and improve tooling designs to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
6. Work to ISO 9001 standards to ensure quality and consistency.
7. Coach and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering growth within the team.

What You Need:

• Proven experience in tooling design, preferably within the composites industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA would be a distinct advantage).
• Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
• Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
