Are you a design engineer, with experience in AutoCAD, looking to join a well established company that offers progression and training?

Are you experienced in mechanical and electrical building services and looking for a role that offers a healthy work life balance with an early finish on a Friday and an enhanced holiday package?

This company was established just under two decades ago and since then has grown to become a leading mechanical and electrical contractor in the South West region. The company offer design, installation, service and repair solutions to the commercial and industrial markets.

In this role the suitable candidate will be expected to work in a team of five in the design team to provide initial drafts for projects. You will need to attend design and client meetings to ensure all projects are being completed to client standards. There will be infrequent travel to client sites in the Gloucestershire region.

The Role:

• 8 – 5 Monday – Thursday 8 – 4 Friday
• Work in a team of four other designers to draft initial plans for projects
• Be primarily office based but infrequently travel to client sites when necessary
• Help mentor junior staff, providing leadership and training
• Prepare technical report and provide support throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and accreditations

The Person:

• Experience in the building services industry
• Experience with AutoCAD
