In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Product Development Life Cycle including requirements gathering, conceptual, preliminary and detailed design and definition. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality design deliverables for a component, sub-system and system, support and lead validation activities related to implementation and manufacturability. You will be team lead to deliver design and Integration of aero engine components and assemblies – Apply principles product safety, robust design, system engineering, DFX and producibility. Work with the Integrated project team in a collaborative environment to mature the design through gated technical reviews, securing buyoffs by demonstrating that the physical and functional solutions provided achieve the desired product requirements and attributes such as life, cost, weight, serviceability. Deliver definitions for manufacturing – this may be done in the traditional drawings or Model Based Definitions whilst complying to the customer operating procedures and best practices. To be part of the team with experience of modelling, drafting and MBD on a variety of complex components and sub-assemblies in core turbomachinery domain (such as Compressor, combustion, Rotative discs, casings, structures, Turbine Statics, shafts etc.) may be advantageous.
