Job description

A highly-reputable Engineering firm which specialise in Bespoke Machinery and Capital Equipment are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. This company are well renowned in West Yorkshire, and supply on international scale.

Working closely with other Engineering disciplines, you’ll generate design concepts and for a new range of company product from concept to project handover. This will consist of full machinery and material handling equipment design, complex mechanical and rotating components, GA & layout drawings, technical calculations, BoM’s and liaising with clients and suppliers.

As the company continue to expand, natural progression into further Senior positions is not uncommon. Applicants from a machinery design background will be favoured.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

• HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong 3D CAD skills
• Experience in Machinery/Rotating Equipment/Material Handling
• GD&T (BS8888)
• Material Selection, Machining Methods and Techniques
