Job summary

Anglian Water Group is recruiting a Mechanical Degree Apprentice Level 6 at Thorpe Wood House, Peterborough. The role offers hybrid working with 1–2 days from home per week and a base salary of £24,558 from September 2027.

The programme lasts about 4.5–5 years and leads to a BEng (Hons) Electro-mechanical Engineering, preparing you to become a future leader in water infrastructure and environmental projects.

Qualifications

• GCSEs required with English and Maths.
• UCAS Tariff points total 96 or equivalent.
• Self-motivation and willingness to learn.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Full UK driving licence or in progress

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical skills and apply them to workplace projects.
• Support mechanical design, testing, analysis, reporting and quality assurance.
• help projects stay on time and on budget.
• Provide technical guidance and grow into a confident engineer.
