Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer at a prestigious commercial site in Liverpool Street, City of London. The role focuses on maintaining a wide range of mechanical and building services systems in a professional on-site team.

The position operates on a 4 days on / 4 days off day shift pattern, offering a stable schedule and good work-life balance. A strong background in building services and a commitment to health and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified with City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
• Strong practical knowledge of mechanical building services and plant.
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience on large or complex commercial sites is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled PPMs in line with site procedures and maintenance schedules.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Undertake remedial and corrective works as required.
• Maintain and inspect AHUs and FCUs.
• Inspect and maintain pumps, bearings, seals and pumps.
