Job summary

South West Water in the South West of England is seeking a Mechanical Craftsperson to maintain and repair our water treatment assets, pumping stations and reservoirs, ensuring reliable service for communities.

You'll perform reactive maintenance, fabricate parts, specify replacements, support operational teams with complex problems and ensure safety compliance through RAMS, while benefiting from ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in a relevant technical discipline.
• Full RAMS understanding for safe maintenance.
• Experience with Waste Water treatment processes desirable.
• Able to fault-find and repair large mechanical equipment.

As a Mechanical Craftsperson, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our water treatment assets, pumping stations, and reservoirs. What We Are Looking For

• A completed apprenticeship in a relevant technical discipline
• A full understanding of related RAMS to deliver an effective and safe maintenance regime
• Experience of working with Waste Water treatment processes would be desirable
• Ability to fault find and repair large complex pieces of mechanical equipment
