Job summary

Trust in People Ltd seeks an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical services on commercial projects across Sussex. You will manage contracts, budgets, programmes and subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery.

Candidates should have proven experience in the Commercial sector and strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, and plant, with solid leadership and contractual awareness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager in the commercial sector.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services (HVAC, pipework, plant).
• Good commercial and contractual awareness.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from pre-construction to handover.
• Control budgets, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Coordinate design, procurement and site delivery.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality and programme requirements.
• Act as main point of contact for clients and main contractors.
