Job summary

Elite Hire Solutions in the Midlands is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to lead delivery of multiple mechanical packages on commercial refurbishment projects.

You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards, coordinating with clients, consultants, and site teams across the Midlands and beyond.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager.
• Strong mechanical building services knowledge.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• SMSTS / CSCS (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical projects from handover to completion.
• Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Programming works, labour planning, and progress reporting.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with H&S and company standards.

Commercial Refurbishment Projects | Up to £2m A well-established, family-run Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their growing team. The business has built a strong reputation delivering commercial refurbishment projects across the UK, with the majority of work based in the Midlands. Project values typically range up to £2 million, covering sectors such as commercial offices, education, healthcare, and industrial refurbishments.

The Role

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple mechanical packages from pre-construction through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical projects from handover to completion
• Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Programming works, labour planning, and progress reporting
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
