Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Planner to support planning and delivery of mechanical construction activities within the MEH Alliance on Hinkley Point C, based in Bridgewater.

The role develops and maintains detailed Level 5 construction schedules and four‑week lookahead plans, providing evidence‑based progress updates and ensuring readiness across engineering, materials, access, resources, quality and commissioning requirements.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain detailed mechanical Level 5 construction schedules.
• Prepare and update mechanical four-week lookahead plans.
• Align schedules with 16-week lookahead and milestones.
• Establish activity-level progress and quantity measurement requirements.
• Measure construction progress and track installed quantities against plan.
• Integrate engineering, materials, access, resources and commissioning requirements.
• Identify construction constraints and programme risks and escalate as needed.
• Confirm activity readiness with construction and delivery teams.
• Maintain accurate planning information reflecting site progress.
• Provide clear visibility of readiness and productivity to support delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed mechanical Level 5 construction schedules.
• Prepare, maintain and update mechanical four-week lookahead plans.
• Ensure mechanical schedules are aligned with the overall 16-week lookahead and key programme milestones.
• Establish activity-level progress and quantity measurement requirements.
• Measure construction progress and track installed quantities against planned outputs.
• Provide accurate, evidence-based schedule progress updates.
• Integrate engineering, materials, access, resources, quality and commissioning requirements into construction planning activities.
• Confirm activity readiness with construction and delivery teams.
• Maintain accurate planning information reflecting site progress.
• Maintain weekly lookahead plans and updates.
