Job summary

Assystem in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Mechanical Planning Engineer to join the integrated planning team for the Hinkley Point C project on site. This permanent role offers a long-term future on a major infrastructure program running into the 2030s.

You will own scheduling across piping, HVAC and M&E, using Primavera P6, interfacing with subcontractors and client stakeholders, and delivering KPI dashboards while monitoring critical path.

Qualifications

• Proven planning experience on major mechanical, piping or M&E installation projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 skills to build and maintain fully logic-linked schedules.
• Experience in nuclear, Oil & Gas, energy or regulated construction environments.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and project controls.
• Understanding of commissioning interfaces and system turnover processes.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated scheduling across piping, HVAC and M&E scopes using Primavera P6.
• Develop logic-linked construction and commissioning schedules, monitor critical path, produce KPI dashboards and interface with subcontractors and client stakeholders.
