A leading engineering consultancy based in York is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will survey, design, and coordinate the installation of mechanical services across various projects including new builds and refurbishments. You should hold relevant qualifications in Building Services Engineering and have over 3 years of experience in consultancy and design. Qualifications

• Experience aligned with Incorporated Engineer knowledge requirements for CIBSE.

As our business grows, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join us.

Working from inception to completion you will survey, design, coordinate, report and inspect the installation of mechanical services in buildings. The position involves engineering consultancy on new build, redevelopment and refurbishment projects featuring the full suite of building services design activities. • Provide engineering consultancy across new build, redevelopment and refurbishment projects, covering the full suite of building services design activities.

Requirements / Qualifications

• One of the following qualifications: ONC Building Services, HNC Building Services or a degree (or equivalent) in Building Services Engineering, with experience commensurate with knowledge requirements for Incorporated Engineer aligned to CIBSE requirements.
• Over 3 years of experience in Mechanical Building Services Consultancy and Design.
• Ability to create thermal models and produce drawings in CAD.
• Good working knowledge of Building Regulations, Part L Compliance, AutoCAD, and Dynamic Thermal Modelling Software (EDSL TAS or IES).
