Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Bias Engineer to join our team in Chester. The role focuses on ensuring domestic water systems meet L8 standards, while maintaining heating, air-conditioning plant and ensuring safe, compliant operations on-site.

The successful candidate will perform inspections, diagnose and repair equipment, and contribute to life-long learning and professional development within a CBRE Managed Services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining Pumps, Motors and Valves.
• Experience operating Cooling Towers.
• Domestic and commercial plumbing knowledge.
• Knowledge of health and safety obligations in maintenance activities.
• Time served plumber to NVQ Level 2/3.
• Basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and diagnose equipment issues on-site.
• Repair faults and carry out maintenance across plant and systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works as required.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure safe working practices.
