Job summary

Premier Placement Services is recruiting Assembly Operatives for a client based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. The role offers weekly pay and a long-term opportunity with a temp-to-perm pathway.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 08:00am-16:30pm, with pay at £13.00-£13.50 per hour. Experience with hand/power and air tools and the ability to read blueprints is required. Apply now to join a manufacturing team in a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years manufacturing experience.
• Physically capable.
• Reliable with a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Using hand/power and air tools to assemble components.
• Assembling and rebuilding mechanical components for commercial vehicles.
• Interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure accurate fitting.
• Quality checking parts and final assemblies for defects or misalignment, ensuring all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
