Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Assembly Operative in Leicester for an immediate start on a permanent basis. The role focuses on assembling engineered components to create final assemblies, following job cards and drawings, with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.

Candidates should have proven assembly experience, engineering qualifications (C&G/NVQ preferred), and strong communication skills. A counterbalance FLT licence is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an assembly/fitting role within Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Ideally have qualifications within an engineering discipline (C&G/NVQ).
• Excellent communication skills; able to work with precision and clarity.
• Right first time and conscientious approach to work; accuracy is essential.
• Counterbalance FLT Licence is not essential but advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble engineered and machined components to complete final assemblies.
• Follow job cards and engineering drawings to ensure correct assembly.
• Ensure all parts are assembled correctly and labelled and stored to avoid damage.
• Work as an individual or as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Clean and polish parts before packing for dispatch.
