Gi Group UK currently seeks a Mechanical Assembly Operator for a leading manufacturing client in Uddingston. The role involves diagnosing and rectifying faults on a range of tools and machines, servicing units before dispatch and supporting the Repair Team with fault analysis. Hours are Mon-Fri, 7:45am-3:45pm (37.5 hours/week).

A recognised mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent is required. Training is provided to build a long-term career path, with potential progression into mobile service

Competenze

• Recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical field or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong mechanical, assembly, production experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of tools and machines.
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Enthusiastic team player who learns new technology quickly.
