HR GO Recruitment is seeking a Hands-on Mechanical Assembly Operator for a leading manufacturer near Bishops Stortford and Harlow. You will rotate across a structured, non-powered assembly line to build high-quality machinery following engineering instructions.

You will assemble equipment using spanners, screwdrivers and pneumatic air guns, torque components to exacting standards, and work with hand and power tools. A mechanical background and strong attention to detail are essential.

The Role

Hands-on Production Assembly Operator for a leading manufacturer of equipment. You will work on a structured, non-powered assembly line, rotating across workstations to build high-quality machinery to engineering instructions

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment using spanners, screwdrivers and pneumatic air guns.
• Torque components accurately to meet strict safety and quality standards.
• Mechanical background (e.g., car mechanics, vehicle repair, or basic assembly).
• Confident hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches.
• Ability to follow step-by-step instructions with strong attention to detail.
• Physically fit for all duties.
