Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training in Redditch is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler / Welder for a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment. You will predominantly assemble components mechanically and perform welding tasks, following drawings and using hand/power tools safely.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, 40 hours weekly, with a temporary-to-permanent opportunity and starting pay based on skill level (£13.50–£15.50 per hour).

• Experience in mechanical assembly, welding, fabrication or manufacturing.
• Proficient welding skills.
• Confident in using hand and power tools.
• Able to interpret drawings and follow instructions precisely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, diligent and a proactive team player.
• Experience with doors, fabrication or metalwork is an advantage.

Pay: £13.50 – £15.50 per hour, depending on skill level

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

This hands-on role involves approximately 80% mechanical assembly and 20% welding within a fast-paced production environment.
