Job summary

KPJ Group in Chapel-en-le-Frith is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a forward-thinking manufacturer. You will work in a structured engineering workshop, assembling large-scale components and ensuring high quality.

The role offers £31,200 per year with rotating shifts 5am–2:30pm and 2:30pm–12am, overtime at enhanced rates, a pension/contribution scheme, 25 days holiday, healthcare, and regular company events.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical assembly experience is essential.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a team and meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the assembly of large-scale mechanical components, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions to complete tasks.
• Using hand and power tools to assemble parts efficiently and safely.
• Performing quality checks on finished components to ensure they meet specifications.
