Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Ipswich to assemble hydraulic equipment and mechanical components. The role involves cleaning and preparing parts, testing finished products, and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure quality standards are met.

You will work Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30, with permanent opportunities after a 3-month probation. A family-run environment and ongoing training are highlighted as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical fitting or mechanical assembly
• A good understanding of hydraulic systems (but not essential)
• Ability to confidently read engineering drawings
• Pride in producing high-quality work with excellent attention to detail
• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider team

Mechanical Assembler - Finish at 3:30pm Every Friday? No - Every Day!

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30 (40 hours per week)

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)

Contract: Permanent (following a successful 3-month probation)
