Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Yate, South Glos. You will join a small workshop team and carry out assembly and fitting work to drawings, using power drills and air tools to complete components efficiently.

The role is a temporary ongoing position with a fixed 8am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday schedule, offering 40 hours per week, 28 days holiday and onsite parking. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role such as assembly or production line.
• Experience in workshop environment and fitting work.
• Electrical skills would be an advantage.

Mechanical Assembler - Yate, South Glos - £13.20 to £13.50 per hour - 8am to 4.30pm Mon to Fri - 40 hrs per week, 28 days holiday, Pension, Onsite parking.

Are you a student looking for temporary work to start ASAP and have some engineering or mechanical assembly experience? We are recruiting a Mechanical Assembler for our manufacturing client, based in Yate - this is a temporary ongoing position to start ASAP. This role would suit someone who has good mechanical assembly experience, a background working in (or knowledge of) automotive or similar environment would be ideal. Reporting to the workshop manager, this role would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a small team and is able to work to deadlines.

Duties will include:

• Assembly and fitting work
• Using hand held tools such as power drills and air compressed tools
• Fitting of components and other parts
• Working from basic engineering drawings

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role - assembly or production line or in a workshop environment where you were carrying out fitting work would be ideal. Additionally any electrical skills would be a distinct advantage.
