Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Mechanical Assembly operative to assemble mechanical components to engineering specifications, using hand tools and power tools. You will inspect finished products for quality and ensure compliance with instructions. Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-1pm Friday.

Overtime is available after 39 hours at £21.00–£24.00 per hour. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly operative for our client based in the Birmingham area.

Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 1pm Friday

Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components according to engineering specifications and instructions
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ideally, you will hold your F-GAS qualification to be considered for this role.

£14.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience.

Overtime is available after 39 hours paid at £21.00 - £24.00 per hour.

Immediate start is available for the right candidate.
