Fusion People Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for M&E packages from pre-construction through to final account, working with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients.

You will need strong technical knowledge of building services, a solid commercial background, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Senior level experience preferred in M&E quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services installations.
• Experience with M&E contractors or specialist subcontractors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Good understanding of contract forms (JCT, NEC).
• Proficient in cost reporting and commercial management systems.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.

We are seeking an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team delivering high-value building services projects across the North West and beyond.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute QS who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in major mechanical and electrical installations.

The Role

You will take full commercial responsibility for M&E packages from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial performance of mechanical and electrical projects
• Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and subcontracts
• Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting

About You

We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of building services and a solid commercial background.

• Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor (Senior level preferred)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services installations
• Experience working for an M&E contractor or specialist subcontractor
