Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor - RNAS Yeovilton

Morson Talent is currently recruiting Aircraft Mechanical Supervisors on a long-term contract basis at RNAS Yeovilton.

Primary Tasks

1. Provision of Aircraft Mechanical Maintenance supporting Front Line, Scheduled, and Unscheduled Maintenance on Merlin Mk4/4a aircraft.
2. Perform engineering responsibilities equivalent to a Avionic/Mechanical Supervisor POAET within the CHF Squadron.
3. Investigate and diagnose faults and defects in equipment and systems; supervise preventative maintenance within own trade.
4. Utilize specialist skills to carry out and supervise repair, modification, fault rectification, and maintenance activities related to Merlin Mk4/4A aircraft.
5. Supervise and perform removal, dismantling, re-assembly, and refitting of role equipment, aircraft subassemblies, and systems.
6. Conduct independent inspections within own trade.
7. Perform duties of MF700C Flight Servicing and MF700C Coordinator, including coordinating maintenance work orders.
8. Supervise and carry out husbandry defect rectification and anti-corrosion work.

Secondary Tasks

1. Perform all tasks in accordance with military regulations, Air Publications, Aircraft Document Set (MOD Form 700C series), instructions, local orders, and health and safety regulations.
2. Conduct flight servicing and routine maintenance on Merlin Mk4/4A.
3. Carry out corrosion prevention in line with policy to maintain high material standards of Merlin Mk4/4A.
