My client is a Family car dealership who have been going for 20 years and are currently looking to recruit Vehicle Technicians to join their team in both Cars and HGV

Locations: Milton Keynes

Role and Responsibilities:

• To undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard within scheduled times to meet company and franchise standards
  
• Repair, test vehicles and diagnose their faults as and when required by Service Manager and supervisory staff
  
• Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usage
  
• Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety
  
• Carry out work completely and effectively within manufacturers’ servicing and repair times
  
• Advise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements while working on vehicles, including future servicing/repair requirements
  

The Ideal Applicant:

• Have at least 3 years’ experience after qualifying period, of working in a Main Dealership (or similar)
  
• Ideally hold a valid MOT Card
• Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work
  
• Full UK driving licence
  
• Level 2 or 3 City and Guild Qualification

Package for Vehicle Technician

Basic: Up to £37,000depending on experience withOTE of £40,000

Hours:Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm and Alternative Saturdays 7am to 12pm

Package for HGV Technician

Basis: Up to £42,000 plus OTE

Hours:Monday to Friday Shift work 6am to 2.30pm or 1.30pm to 10pm and Alternative Saturdays
