A leading automotive service provider is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician for a full-time role in Christchurch. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and support for customers. We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Christchurch. This full-time role is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a range of vehicles, ensuring our customers receive the highest standard of service and support.
What you'll be doing:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults on a variety of vehicle makes and modelsPerform WOF inspections plus maintenance and servicingTest and inspect components to identify issues and determine appropriate repair actionsUtilise diagnostic equipment and tools to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve problemsEnsure a safe and organised work environment by following all safety protocols
What we're looking for:
Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent experience.WOF authority (AVI)Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose and repair faultsProficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and toolsExcellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skillsA commitment to providing high-quality customer serviceA keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficientlyA valid driver's license and your own tools
