Job summary

PDR Solutions Ltd in Lamberhurst is looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Mechanic to support the servicing and repair of a variety of agricultural and horticultural machinery. This role involves working in a workshop environment as part of a dedicated team.

The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience with equipment such as tractors and mowers, and excellent customer communication skills. Hours are Monday to Friday with optional Saturday overtime.

Our client, an established family‑run business, are looking for an experienced multi‑skilled mechanic/engineer to assist in the servicing and repair of small to mid‑sized farming/horticultural equipment.

As a Multi‑Skilled Mechanic you will join a workshop team providing service, maintenance, and repair solutions for a range of tractors, mowers, sprayers, woodchippers, forestry and stone crushing machinery as well as garden machinery.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and diagnose faults on agricultural machinery.
• Conduct pre‑delivery inspections and ensure machinery is ready for use.
• Use diagnostic tools.
• Collect and return equipment from clients.
• Maintain customer relationships.

Requirements

• Experience in agricultural/horticultural machinery repair (e.g. tractors, self‑propelled mowers, chippers, and chainsaws).
• Strong mechanical background.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Own hand tools.
• Driving licence – and vehicle to access semi‑rural location and to collect/return machinery to client sites.

Hours of Work

• Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm.
• Optional overtime on Saturday to meet business needs.
