Agricultural Mechanic role in Ipswich with a leading farming business. This hands-on position covers workshop and on-farm maintenance to keep machinery running reliably throughout the season. Accommodation is available for relocation.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and a full UK driving licence. Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems is preferred; HGV/telehandler tickets are a bonus but not essential. A three-bedroom cottage is available to rent.

The Job:

An established farming business in Ipswich is looking for a skilled Agricultural Mechanic to maintain and repair a range of farm machinery and equipment.

This is a hands on role covering workshop and on farm maintenance, fault finding and repairs, helping to keep machinery running reliably throughout the farming season. Accommodation is available for someone looking to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery
• - Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• - Maintain tractors, combines, cultivation equipment and other farm machinery
• - Support seasonal operations and minimise machinery downtime during busy periods
• - Keep accurate maintenance records and follow health and safety requirements
• - Assist with welding, fabrication and workshop tasks where required

• - Full UK driving licence
