Job summary

Stagecoach Inverness is seeking an experienced Shift Mechanic to maintain and repair a modern and varied fleet, ensuring safe and comfortable journeys for customers. You will join a dedicated team at Inverness depot and contribute to high standards of engineering and service delivery.

You will work around a 45-hour week with overtime potential, benefitting from training, career development, and a strong pension and travel benefits program. A supportive, inclusive environment awaits.

Qualifications

• You need to have an engineering background with a vehicular focus – bus, HGV / LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, farm – if it moves, it’s good experience!
• You need to want to deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repair

• Work across depot and on-road locations to diagnose and fix issues, including electrical and mechanical systems.

Shift Mechanic

We are looking for experienced PCV mechanics to join our Inverness team.

Competitive rate of pay in line with experience

Guaranteed 45 hours minimum with overtime potentially available

You’ll be one of our experienced members of staff who maintains and repairs a modern and varied fleet of vehicles so our fantastic customers can travel safely and comfortably every day to healthcare and employment, to shopping and leisure, and to see friends and family.
