Job summary

Kepak Group in Bodmin is seeking an Ancillary Operative to support our Boning Hall and production line. You will start at 06:30 and finish when production ends, Monday to Friday, contributing to hygiene, safety, and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within food production is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Understanding of and commitment to following health and safety regulations.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment for the production process.
• Monitor and maintain product quality standards along the line.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Inspect machinery regularly and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Assist in packaging and labeling of finished products according to standards.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic work area and spacious production floor.
• Be able to lift weights and move around the factory floor for the shift.
• Familiar with the daily production plan and collaborate to set up the line and check materials.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
