Job summary

Kepak McIntosh Donald in Portlethen, near Aberdeen, is seeking a Forklift/Packing Operative to safely move by-products and packed meat within a high-volume, chilled environment. You will operate a counterbalance forklift and perform packing tasks, ensuring correct labeling, weighing and timely handling of loads.

The role requires a valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift Licence, good English communication, and the ability to work as part of a team to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
• Complies with health and safety regulations and shows attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load, unload and move materials and by-products around the site and boning hall.
• Carry out packing duties: identify vacuum-packed meat cuts and package to spec.
• Complete prestart checks, maintain hygiene standards and follow safety procedures.
