Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd. are recruiting a Meat Packer for a client based in Sherborne. The role requires final checks on packed products, adherence to hygiene, and compliance with safety procedures.

Working hours are 06:30–17:00, five days out of seven, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. A £250 attendance bonus is offered after months 1, 3 and 6 for agency staff. KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Meat Packer for our client based in Sherborne.

As aMeat Packer your working hours and days are:

• 5 out of 7 days per week


• 06:30- 17:00

The rate of pay as aMeat Packer is:

• £12.71 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as aMeat Packer are:

• Carry out final check of packed products to ensure item packed is correct and weight specified match customer order


• Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy


• Ensure customer internal and external company and site compliance


• Always comply with company policy and procedure on safe food handling and hygiene


• Report any accidents/absences are reported in line with site reporting procedures


• Carry out all tasks in a safe manner in accordance with attached H&S responsibilities


• General operative tasks require a substantial amount of physical ability, must be physically fit

The ideal candidate for aMeat Packer would require:

• Ability to work under own initiative


• Ability to work well individually or in a team environment


• Can do attitude with good communication skills and a basic understanding of verbal and written English


• Demonstrate the ability to follow detailed operating procedures with a high degree of attention to detail- follow instructions including those relating to personal health and safety and the wearing of PPE
