Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd in Sherborne is seeking a Wholesale Packer to join our client’s team. The role involves working 5 out of 7 days from 06:30 to 17:00 and paying £12.71 per hour.

You will perform final checks on packed items, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own or as part of a team, communicate effectively in English, and follow detailed procedures with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out final check of packed products to ensure item packed is correct and weight specified match customer order.
• Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy.
• Ensure customer internal and external company and site compliance.
• Always comply with company policy and procedure on safe food handling and hygiene.
• Report any accidents/absences are reported in line with site reporting procedures.
• Carry out all tasks in a safe manner in accordance with attached H&S responsibilities.
• General operative tasks require a substantial amount of physical ability, must be physically fit.

As a Wholesale Packer your working hours and days are:

• 5 out of 7 days per week
• 06:30- 17:00

The rate of pay as a Wholesale Packer is:

• £12.71 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Wholesale Packer are:

• Carry out final check of packed products to ensure item packed is correct and weight specified match customer order

The ideal candidate for a Wholesale Operative would require:

• Demonstrate the ability to follow detailed operating procedures with a high degree of attention to detail- follow instructions including those relating to personal health and safety and the wearing of PPE

Attendance Reliability and Performance Metrics bonus for Agency:

• £250 after month 1, month 3 and month 6
