ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as a Measurement Associate Director . This is a Full-time position based in London . This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and best in class service for Amazon in every country across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be responsible for translating client briefs to identify the most appropriate analytics methodologies includingu00A0 such as MMM, geo tests, lift studies, and attribution
  • Co-ordination of teams across multiple locales to ensure consistency in approach and knowledge sharing
  • Build and apply a deep understanding of marketing objectives to support Account teams with comprehensive KPI frameworks as well as measurement and learning agendas.
  • To help deliver u201Cbest in classu201D analytical capabilities across the agency with the wider team, including the use of new methods, techniques, tools and systems. Managing the process through to delivery and taking ownership of regional roll out.
  • Manage, and develop a team of 1-3 analysts, ensuring high-quality output and efficient workflow.
  • Lead the creation of clear, robust and thought-provoking campaign reviews and insights, and show the wider team/clients how to improve effectiveness.
  • Develop deep understanding of marketing platform testing and targeting abilities, and act in a consultative capacity in their implementation.
  • Translate complex data and analytics concepts for stakeholders and contribute to the company's strategy, promoting data-driven innovation within the media industry.
  • Design and analyse robust experiments including A/B, multi-cell, difference-in-difference, and geo tests.u00A0

  • Be a reliable day-to-day point of contact for clients and maintain robust client relationships.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for the assessment and management of bespoke measurement solutions, including contracts and SOWs.

  • Manage relationships with reporting teams and set automation strategies to integrate new tools and solutions.

u00A0

  • Conduct drivers' analyses (correlative and causal) to understand leading indicators of success and set the most appropriate KPIs.

  • Lead on target setting and forecasting for future campaign performance based on analysis of historical data and industry insights.
  • Work with the planning and activation teams to ensure the learnings from previous analysis are fed back into future planning cycles.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You will be highly numerate and able to confidently interpret data and apply statistical tests to draw robust conclusions.
  • 4+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field

  • Knowledge of applying experimentation, through user-level lift studies, geo tests or otherwise

  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively

  • Strong understanding of statistics including hypothesis testing, descriptive statistics and distribution theory

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in SQL, R and/or Python
  • Excel skills including data analysis and manipulation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in data science and analytics
  • Excellent knowledge of key measurement methodologies including marketing mix modelling, qual & quantitative research and digital attribution
  • Strong commercial acumen with the skills to drive efficiencies and revenue.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to convey thought leadership through academic style writing.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, using project management tools such as Wrike/Jira/Trello. Ability to project manage analytics projects and resources.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS.
  • Highly capable at presenting data in a visually engaging and insightful manner that cuts through the noise
  • Experience in mentorship and management, ability to display empathy in difficult situations and lead by example

BONUS POINTS

  • Holding a degree(s) in a quantitative field: Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Physical Science or Computer Science.
  • Working knowledge of key industry tools and sources such as TGI, IPA Touchpoints, BrandWatch , Meltwater, YouGov Profiles + YouGov BrandIndex .
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools, such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience with digital ad technologies (SA360, GA, Campaign Manager, DV360, Meta Business Manager), site analytics and tools
