Sophos is seeking an MDR Threat Analyst to join our security operations team. You will work with enterprise systems, log analysis and endpoint collection tools to investigate, identify and neutralize cyber threats. You will contribute to a team delivering best-in-class monitoring, detection and response services.

The role emphasizes triaging threats, researching IoCs, and escalating to Tier 2 analysts, while collaborating across projects in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Threat analysis.
• Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Customer service-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage potential cyber threats within customer environments.
• Escalate cyber threats to Tier 2 Threat Analysts for response and neutralization.
• Actively research emerging Indicators of Compromise/Attack, exploits and vulnerabilities to operationalize findings.
• Project work as assigned.
