Qualifications

• GMC registration required with active license to practice in the UK.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience post-qualification, focusing on serious or difficult-to-treat bacterial infections (infectious diseases, medical microbiology, critical care, respiratory, or acute hospital medicine).
• Strong interest in drug development and understanding of medicine development and approval processes.
• Desire to broaden training, including ongoing specialty training or recent completion.
• Strategic mindset with ability to connect clinical and scientific data to business goals and pipeline strategy.
• Commitment to growth, with access to training, cross-functional exposure, and leadership development.

Job description

  GMC Registration: You hold active registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and possess the existing right to work in the UK.
• Clinical Experience: You bring a minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience post-qualification, with a focus on serious or difficult-to-treat bacterial infections (e.g., infectious diseases, medical microbiology, critical care, respiratory, or acute hospital medicine).

  The Roche Clinical Development Fellowship in Infectious Diseases is a one-year, full-time position based within the Global Clinical Development Group at our Welwyn Garden City site.
