Qualifications

• GMC registration required with active license to practice in the UK.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience post-qualification, focusing on serious or difficult-to-treat bacterial infections (infectious diseases, medical microbiology, critical care, respiratory, or acute hospital medicine).
• Strong interest in drug development and understanding of medicine development and approval processes.
• Desire to broaden training, including ongoing specialty training or recent completion.
• Strategic mindset with ability to connect clinical and scientific data to business goals and pipeline strategy.
• Commitment to growth, with access to training, cross-functional exposure, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical studies across design, execution, data review, analysis, and interpretation for molecules in development.
• Collaborate with globally recognised academic experts and clinical investigators to drive innovation.
• Participate in clinical strategy, implementation, and molecule management meetings to gain broad exposure to medicine development.
• Provide infectious disease clinical expertise to cross-functional drug development teams.
• Generate scientific communications; contribute to abstracts and oral presentations for external conferences.
