Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Reading seeks a Mission Critical Network Portfolio Director responsible for the MSN portfolio, ensuring resilience, availability, security and commercial viability of managed services offerings.

You will own the portfolio, define strategies, collaborate with MSN delivery teams, align with BNEW/BCSS, support sales, engage with regional security leaders, drive portfolio evolution and contribute to marketing and industry events.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in mission-critical networks, managed services or operations with security & resilience.
• Deep technical and operational understanding of mission-critical networks; portfolio and commercial skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the portfolio of Mission Critical Network managed services.
• Develop portfolio strategies and offerings tailored to mission-critical customers.
• Collaborate with MSN delivery units and relevant Solution Areas.
• Ensure mission-critical services include appropriate security, resilience and compliance capabilities.
• Support MA/CU Sales and MSCOOs in qualification, solutioning and proposals.
• Engage with MSN TAMs and Regional Security Directors on portfolio topics.
• Provide feedback into MSN portfolio evolution and investment decisions.
• Contribute to marketing campaigns, communications and industry events.

The Mission Critical Network Portfolio Director is responsible for the MSN portfolio section addressing mission-critical networks and operations. The position ensures that mission-critical managed services offerings meet high resilience, availability, security and compliance requirements and are commercially viable.

Role Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the portfolio of Mission Critical Network managed services, including service definitions, resilience and availability characteristics, security and compliance elements and commercial constructs.
• Develop portfolio strategies and offerings tailored to mission-critical customers in close collaboration with SA MSN delivery units and relevant Solution Areas.
• Collaborate closely within BNEW and BCSS on joined up approach for MCN across the Ericsson product and service portfolio.
• Ensure mission-critical services integrate appropriate EOE, MSDP, ANO and security capabilities, in alignment with BPD Capabilities Development, AI Innovation and Security.
• Support MA/CU Sales and MSCOOs in mission-critical opportunity qualification, solutioning and proposal development with portfolio content and guidance.
• Engage with MSN TAMs and MA Regional Security Directors, as appropriate, on mission-critical portfolio topics, including industry events and reference discussions.
• Provide feedback from mission-critical engagements into overall MSN portfolio evolution and investment decisions.
• Contribute to marketing campaigns, communications and industry events.

Required, Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Education – University degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience – Typically 7+ years in mission-critical networks, managed services, or operations with strong exposure to security and resilience requirements.
• Skills – Deep technical and operational understanding of mission-critical networks; knowledge of security and compliance frameworks; portfolio and commercial skills. Excellent communications skills including at industry events and with industry executives and analysts.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• A good demonstrated working knowledge of the Ericsson Operations Engine
• Knowledge of the BCSS business development process for Product Management
• Knowledge of the Ericsson sales process
• Adept at using AI for workplace productivity
