Job summary

SC ENGINEERING in Derby seeks an experienced Systems Engineer specialized in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to join a 12-month contract. Qualifications

• MBSE experience in complex programmes.
• Strong SysML knowledge.
• Experience with requirements management and traceability.
• Familiarity with system architecture and interface management.
• Experience with verification and validation planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities across the full engineering lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain system requirements and architectures.
• Carry out requirements analysis, decomposition, allocation and traceability.
• Develop MBSE models using SysML.
• Create functional, physical, behavioural and interface models.
• Define system architectures and interface specifications.
• Support system integration, verification and validation activities.
• Maintain requirements traceability and digital continuity.
• Carry out trade studies and technical analysis.
• Support engineering reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR and PRR.
• Identify technical risks and support mitigation activities.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
