Job summary

Leidos in the United Kingdom seeks Systems Engineers to support UK programmes in 2026. You will work with customers and suppliers to execute systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle, focusing on MBSE.

Responsibilities include refining requirements, allocating them to components, modelling with MBSE and TOGAF, and delivering design artefacts and compliance reports. Security clearances (BPSS/SC) or DV may be required, with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Experience in MBSE and model-based system development.
• Ability to derive and allocate requirements to components.
• Proven track record on mission-critical systems integration programmes.
• Strong customer-facing communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Refine system and sub-system requirements with stakeholders and acceptance criteria.
• Allocate requirements to lower-level components and perform derivation analysis.
• Model functional and non-functional requirements using MBSE.
• Create system designs and behaviours within architectural views.
• Manage compliance assessments across system levels.
• Produce detailed artefacts: designs, ICDs/APIs, and reports.
• Prepare for milestone technical reviews and deliverables.
• Manage the technical backlog and release content.
