Job summary

Safran is seeking a skilled MBSE Engineer to develop and validate complex systems using digital modeling and simulation. You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate model-based methodologies into the product lifecycle, ensuring efficient design, testing, and optimization.

Responsibilities include developing system models in MATLAB/Simulink, running simulations, and supporting MIL/SIL/HIL testing, while documenting results and advancing V&V automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Computer Science).
• Experience with model-based design tools (MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow).
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles.
• Familiarity with control systems, embedded systems, and simulation environments.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR, Modelica, or SysML.
• Experience with C/C++ code generation from models.
• Exposure to aerospace, automotive, or industrial automation domains.
• Certification in INCOSE, DFSS, or related systems engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate system models using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Perform simulations to analyze system performance and identify design improvements.
• Support MIL, SIL, and HIL testing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into workflows.
• Document modeling processes, results, and recommendations.
• Contribute to automation of V&V processes.
• Participate in external funding opportunities and research initiatives.
