Job summary

The University of Lancashire is seeking an Assistant Lecturer to support the MBBS Year 5 teaching blocks at the Burnley campus. You will help plan and deliver an Evidence Synthesis skills module and an optional advanced block, contributing to curriculum content and the BEST guideline projects.

You will work primarily at Burnley, with occasional attendance at Preston, and collaborate across the evidence synthesis research portfolio.

Qualifications

• Understanding of evidence synthesis, review traditions and methods.
• Experience teaching both large and small groups is essential.
• Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and day-to-day delivery of MBBS Year 5 teaching blocks.
• Contribute to teaching for both Year 5 elements and to portfolio projects on evidence synthesis.
• Work mainly at the Burnley campus with some attendance at Preston campus when required.
