Job summary

University of Lancashire in the UK is seeking a Lecturer to support the newly established MD pathway with high-quality Clinical Medicine and Clinical Skills teaching.

You will work with colleagues across the UK and AUC campuses to ensure curriculum alignment, maintain records, and enhance the student experience for an international cohort.

This role values inclusive teaching, digital literacy, and active contribution to academic planning and student recruitment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and relevant postgraduate qualification in medicine or medical education.
• Strong higher‑education teaching experience in Clinical Medicine/Clinical Skills.
• Experience in a UK medical facility and ability to supervise research up to master’s level.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team.
• Digital literacy including Microsoft tools and Blackboard; commitment to inclusive learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality Clinical Medicine and Clinical Skills teaching for the PGDip IMS/MD programme.
• Provide academic support to students and contribute to curriculum development.
• Coordinate across UK and AUC Sint Maarten campuses and maintain academic records.
• Support student recruitment, progression and positive learning environment.
