Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Maths Tutor to deliver Level 3 Maths in a centre-based setting in Wiltshire. The position is full-time and permanent, offering a salary of 38,700.

You will teach topics such as algebra, trigonometry and calculus, differentiate to meet learner needs, and promote safeguarding and health and safety while engaging learners to realise their potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience delivering Level 3 Maths (A Level or above).
• Qualified with CertEd or equivalent.
• Own A Level in Maths or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Teach Level 3 Maths in a classroom environment (algebra, trigonometry, calculus).

• To teach Level 3 Maths courses, within a classroom environment. Covering areas such as: algebra, trigonometry, and calculus.
• The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
• Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
• Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.
• The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion, in order to help learners realise their potential.

Essential Criteria

• Must hold a minimum of 2 years' experience delivering Level 3 Maths (A Level or above).
• Must hold CertEd, or equivalent.
• Hold own A Level, or equivalent, in Maths.
• Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train learners.
• Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
