Job summary

Harris Academy Rainham is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support Maths learners, including those with SEND, in a dynamic secondary school setting. You will assist with classroom activities and help address students' personal welfare needs as required.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree or equivalent, understand SEND strategies, and possess strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills for recording and managing data.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent qualification required.
• Understanding of SEND and learning barriers.
• Experience supporting learning of students in education.
• Good ICT skills and ability to update records/databases.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in the classroom and with activities.
• Attend to students' personal needs including welfare, health, first aid and safety.
• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and support workload management.
