Job summary

Randstad Education is currently recruiting a qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) to join a supportive secondary school in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. This fixed-term contract runs from ASAP until Christmas 2026, with full-time, term-time duties across KS3 and KS4.

The role requires QTS or QTLS and the right to work in the UK. You will deliver high-quality lessons, manage assessments, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity for students throughout the placement.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Mandatory Right to Work in the UK.
• Availability to work full-time (5 days a week) from ASAP until Christmas 2026.
• Proven track record of working as a Maths Teacher within a UK secondary school setting.
• Holds an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or readiness to process one through Randstad).

Responsibilities

• Deliver High-Impact Lessons: plan and deliver structured maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE).
• Full Curriculum Ownership: class preparation, marking, and student assessment throughout the placement.
• Support Student Progression: differentiate for high achievers and provide targeted numeracy support.
• Maintain High Standards: foster a structured, positive classroom environment.
• Departmental Contribution: collaborate with peers to share resources and ensure seamless delivery.
