The successful candidate will join a supportive Maths department, participate in whole-school initiatives and help drive excellent outcomes for all learners.

Formación

• Holds QTS and a relevant degree.
• Excellent subject knowledge in Maths.
• High expectations of themselves and their students.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
• Reflective, enthusiastic and committed to continuing professional development.
• Shares the values of honesty, faith and courage, placing young people at the heart of everything they do.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that inspire confidence and curiosity.
• Plan and deliver a broad, ambitious curriculum that develops mathematical understanding, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Use assessment effectively to maximise progress and achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive and respectful classroom environment where every student feels valued.
• Support students of all abilities, including those with SEND and EAL.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated Maths department and contribute to the wider life of the academy.
