Our Client is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a successful school near Watford. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who has a genuine passion for Mathematics and enjoys helping students develop confidence, mathematical understanding and strong examination skills.

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 and will be expected to deliver lessons that are both challenging and accessible. You will need to demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt your teaching to meet the needs of students across a range of abilities.

The Mathematics department is collaborative and well organised, with teachers working together to develop resources, share effective practice and ensure consistency across the curriculum. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum planning and wider departmental initiatives.

A key part of the role will be helping students to develop a secure understanding of mathematical concepts rather than simply learning procedures. Experience and Qualifications:
  • Maths Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4

  • Strong Mathematics subject knowledge

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE

  • Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school

  • Ability to differentiate effectively across mixed-ability classes

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress

  • ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply

  • Overseas teachers with appropriate formal teaching qualifications may also be considered
