Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a qualified Maths Teacher to inspire students across the secondary age range in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT). The role is long-term temporary with an immediate start and involves planning engaging lessons, managing behaviour and driving progress.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS with Maths specialism, have secondary school experience and a strong Maths curriculum knowledge, plus excellent classroom management and communication skills.

The school is looking to appoint a passionate Maths Teacher on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across the secondary age range, managing classroom behaviour and supporting students to make strong academic progress.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism (NQTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• An enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approach to teaching
