Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Maths teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Telford, Shropshire, with an immediate start. The appointment is temporary with potential for extension.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and GCSE, build positive relationships with students and maintain high expectations in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Mathematics.
• Be able to teach effectively across KS3 and/or GCSE.
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be adaptable, reliable and able to settle quickly into a new school environment.
• Have high expectations of students and a commitment to improving outcomes.
• Be passionate about Mathematics and able to inspire and engage learners.

The Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Trelford, with an ideal start date of as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths teacher who is passionate about helping young people develop their mathematical understanding, confidence and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons, supporting students across the relevant secondary age range.

Requirements
